ey up all...

just a quickie... ive been thinking about changing the look and feel of the outdoor sections on my map and wondered if anyone had any thoughts on the 'real' differences between the 3 settings (Precise, Dp3, Hemisphere)

by 'real' i mean - i know the crytek 'party line' on this subject is that we should use the precise setting, but the quality of the shadows is so much nicer (softer) on the DP3 setting..., and hemisphere gives a nice washed out 'radiosity' feel.

im just wondering what everyone else's thoughts are, and if anyone has done any comparison 'renders' with the 3 different settings they'd like to share.. i'd do em meself but the hard disk that my OS lives on failed about an hour ago http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_frown.gif

cheers
