Unfortunately not... Even us guys with Cable/ADSL/T1 have loads of lag disrupting our game http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_smile.gif.

Tweak around with your netspeed settings in the Ravenshield.ini file.

Theres nothing you can really do. If you have an internal winmodem. Try an external hardware serial modem (stay away from usb). If you get an external I suggest USR5686E or a 3Com V92. Get that from amazon if you can. Unfortunately broadband is the best way to enjoy RvS. Im getting dsl. Are you in the US?

If you have a fast computer and an external hardware modem, the game is definitely playable.
Just play on servers with the lowest ping to you. I'm 56k and i rarely see lag. Might see a tiny bit at the start of a round on certain maps, but otherwise it runs quite well. My ping goes down to 140 on the servers i play on. The worst thing about it is that i lose my reaction time to my ping. When i meet face to face with a tango, that split second delay usually means my death. But I have adapted my gameplay, and i do quite well usually.

Yeah what woody said, If you have a fast puter, an external modem and a good pinging server you could have ggz in RvS. I have a fast PC but my video card is lacking, NVIDIA GF4 440MX 128, 768MB ram and 2.26GHz P4. I experimented with my graphics settings and noticed that if I turned all graphics detail low, and use the lowest res I get almost 0 lag when playing. Since I have lcd those settings dont look too good.

I have t1 and i get lag on some maps, or just a burst depending if someone with a terrible connection joins the game
