I have just been messing around with the mission editor and have come across a few things that I hope someone might be able to give me advice on.
Ok, first the explination.
The mission I was working on was a SEAD mission. 2 ship F-16 WW, 2 ship F-15 Escort, and 2 ship A-10 CAS (to mop up what's left over http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_smile.gif )
I have done this 1st, without any flyable aircraft, just to get the hang of the mission editor and work out how to get AI aircraft to do what I want. I beleive I have it mostly worked out.
I have set up 1 group with 3 flights in the order that I have mentioned above.
I have the following questions:
1. Why do the lead aircraft in each flight roll 1st? (Why don't the flight roll together? i.e. both F-16s, then both F-15s and then both A-10s)
2. Why does the #2 F-16 have problems getting past the F15? Is this an AI problem? (I can solve this by exchanging the order of the flights so that the F15's take off first and there is no problem, but as this is a SEAD flight I really don't want the 15's to be in the lead. They are supposed to be providing air cover, not SAM bait http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_smile.gif )
If anyone has any tips on how I might eliviate these problems, please let me know. To see an example of the bahaviour, here is a link to my test mission. (NOTE: This mission has NO flyable aircraft!
