did all the other posts get deleted with this new forum? i can't find my question i was keeping track of!

anyway, it was this: i'm in the desert-type age with the waterfalls, and i've collected those three wooden stands you can push around...i was wondering if they are what i need to be focusing on to advance further....

Well if you've already found the THREE wooden stands, then the rest should be obvious. What did you do with just one? Now you have three.

well, i'm not even sure i used the first one correctly...i used it to cross a shallow part of the water so the lightning bugs wouldn't leave me if i got in the water...was that right? and now you say i need to use all three in a similar fashion?

oh my god this is frustrating...ok, i'm guessing that i must use these three wooden stands somewhere very near where they are found, since they can't really be moved elsewhere (the other world, or where you begin this age)...does where i need to use these things involve water?

ok, i have to go to class now...i know i'll only be able to concentrate on this all night...but just in case i come up with nothing in the next four hours, can someone give me a very vague hint to lead me in the right direction? i'm guessing i have to either make a path for me to walk on, or redirect the flow of water, or something like that...i'm not sure i used the first wooden stand correctly, so saying 'think about what you did with the first one' isn't helping me! http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

i was thinking maybe it had to do with that large waterfall off to the side, but i walked off it and i was sent back to my relto, so i don't want to push those things too near its edge...

anyway, just a little hint or two please, so i can make some progress when i come home tonight!

What you did with the first crab pot? Why not try something similar with the other 2?

because i don't even know if i used the first one the right way...i used it to make a little bridge over the water so the bugs wouldn't leave me if i stepped in the water...was this correct? somehow that doesn't seem right, because no matter how you approach the caves, there are two areas of water you have to cross, and only one wooden crate was at your disposal at that time...so the second area of water i just ran across really fast and i guess i got lucky that the bugs didn't fly away, i don't know...

so anyway, did i use the first one correctly?

Yes, you used them correctly.

The hint you need is this: the bugs tolerate ONE jump.

oh no, i need the bugs again!? the weird thing is, when i got the bugs, i jumped once to test and they flew away...they always seemed to do this, and then one time i forgot about this and i jumped across that very narrow waterfall on the upper ledge (leading to that room with a cloth) and they stayed with me...but i doubt that's the jump i need to make anymore, since there's nothing else up there....

hmmm....

yep, out of frustration, i just started walking around the other world again and i found a cloth i missed, and that made seven...finally i finished that age!
