If you look through the "scope" of the plant, and experiment with its range of motion, you will eventually find a sensible target. And, BTW, more than one plant operates this way, and some need to be coordinated!

I figured out there is a different sound when I go and line up with a V shaped rock(s) but nothing seems to happen. Am I on the right track? Thanks.

Go down to the lagoon near the base of the cliff. Wander around on the shore rocks and see if you can wake up the Squee. Rules of play are to look everywhere and touch everything.

Thanks, sometimes you just need to be reminded to search everywhere. I get so rapped up in the game, that sometimes I forget the true fun of this game, the search. So thanks, I'm back on track.
