Invisible Avatar - Help!!!

I've received my copy of Uru and have been playing for the last couple of days. I updated the game yesterday and now my avatar is invisible, even when I try to change my apearence in the closet. I've tried to update the Uru program again with no results. Any suggestions would be great.


System Specs:
Gigabyte 7VRX
AMD 1800+
512 MB Ram (PC 2700)
Nvidea GeForce 4400 (128 MB)
Sound Blaster Extigy

All drivers have been updated.

Could you have toggled into first person? The F1 key is the toggle.

In third person it's also possible to use the wheel on the mouse to dolly in, which sometimes makes your avatar disappear.

Sometimes if you get too close to a wall, so that your avatar disappears, it will stay invisible when you walk away. Often getting close to the wall again and then walking away will make the avatar reappear.

Whatever is causing it, I hope you get it fixed soon!

I've switched between first and third person views and he's invisible in both. (Obviously he's not meant to be visible in first person) I've started and restarted my game several times now and have even played for a couple of hours with the avatar being invisible. The cut scenes when you are doing an action such as climbing down a ladder are avatar-less also. I'm stumped as to what has happened.

Try going to the closet and putting clothes on.

This happened to me also, i had to uninstall the game (you won't lose ur KI or saved points) and reinstalled it, big update then it was ok

New question (I think) I have logged on to Prologue and have transferred my player settings ok. I have more than 1 family member playing, each with their own avitar and progress (obviously) I do not find a way to create multiple avitars (players) in the prologue. Is there a way? Will there be?

Currently, no.

In the future? Possibly. Most likely for at least two.

It'd be really nice if they gave some form of "family pricing" where 5 or 6 family members could sign up under the same cd key and acount and instead of paying the normal $10 a month have it be $15 or whatever...

Make it so they can't be logged in simutaneously, yadda yadda yadda
