because they removed the cd check in that patch

LOL you mean I don't have to put the cd in? http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/images/smiley/blink.gif I never tried to play it with out the cd.

Matt Wagner (possibly others from ED but not sure) successfully lobbied UBI to drop it due to problems it has caused with previous versions.
