Much interest has been voiced on action centered on the Mediterranean. Until such times as Ubi gives us those maps, we can adapt some fine extant maps. I recently upgraded my system memory which allowed me to better utilize the large Gulf of Finland map. In surveying it, I saw the island of Kronshtadt. Lets see, a large fortressed city, port facilities, airfield, fortifications on smaller islands, industrial area...then it struck me that it could, with a smidgeon of artistic license and imagination, be Malta. IMHO, it lends itself very handily to the task. There are numerous airfields on the mainland coasts, both on the north and south sides of the Gulf, from which to launch Luftwaffe attacks. I downloaded some tropical skins for the AI to enhance the effects. So far I have had several satisfying missions result from our ad hoc Malta. Give it a whirl...at least until the read Med shows up.

Sounds good! I just started working on a P40 Med campaign last night.(Also working on a JG54 Bf109G2 camp for CanonUK)I'm going to use one of the desert like online maps. I'm looking forward to digging into it. I think its got potential.
