A10 was there last year and F117 accompanied by an F15 fighter escort. Amazing!

Oh yeah F117 also hooked up with the Red Arrows for a memorable fly past.

Cannot wait for this year. 16-18 July.

I'm hoping to go to Fairford show for the first time this year. Been to plenty elsewhere in the UK but never Fairford. I moved to Oxon last year so its 30 mins away now http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

I'm planning to visit the "open dagen" (open days) of the Dutch Airforce, on 18 and 19 june.
They said there would be a stand with the ACES II, so that's the main reason I want to visit it, both days. Oh, and to see the Harrier and F-4 in real life.

Oh, there will be shows from the Red Arrows, Frecce Tricolore and Patroille de France, and a PC-7 display team http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/images/smiley/53.gif
And the best part of it is that Volkel AB, is a 20km drive from where I live. w00t, can't wait for it.

i was really hoping for a static last year - but it didn't happen.. just the air show..

i think they're a bit busy this year to come to the show.. i've asked on A-10.org forums and did't get a reply so have taken it that they won't be there this year, which is understandable considering..

There are rumours that America will bring their F/A-22 to FAIRFORD!!!!
I Don't know if it will be static,flying or a flyby but I hope it will come.
I've heard this from somebody from the organisation.It isn't yet published on the site but I hope it will be soon.
