I mean if pacman affected us when we were kids, we would all be running around in dark rooms munching on pills and listening to repetitive electronic music!

Man theirs one big thing i always hated about the oicw.

It doesnt have the cool abundance of picatinny rails as the m4a1 does. Thats tons of cool attachments that the oicw will never see.

Also whats so good about the oicw lol...without the grenade launcher, it is nothing more then a short noose carbine...which means it has trashy long range capibility with bullets and is loud with a large muzzle flash common to these setups.

If it was up to me...id say turn the fn p90 into a 5.56mm weapon with a free-floating handguard from the m4a1's and have the oicw as a underside grenade launcher attachment. Wow that thing would way a ton with all that stuff on, but imagine how cool it would look...albet add in a bipod and 10x trigcon and a infrared laser and flashlight for good measure /i/smilies/16x16_smiley-very-happy.gif

I posted the info because of the other thread about the m16.
Thought people who haven't read the pdf file might find them a good read. The range fused grenades are pretty impressive. Fewer people know of the oscw. It's pretty impressive as well.

Pretty high tech though, simple stupid saves lives to. I wonder about the reliability of these things.

the OICW is never going 2 make it into standard issue with the weight it is right now. the XM8 is going 2 likely become standard issue before the OICW.
