Jumping is an exploit eh?

I joined a server in multiplayer and after a round of being a spy, I became a merc.

I found a spy and he used a smoke grenade. The screen became a bit fuzzy because of the grenade and when I jumped, the opponent started swearing at me and saying that I exploit.

He kept saying it was a bug and how much of a ****er I am to exploit.

Later on, he shocked me with his gun, and after the shock passed, I jumped and he started swearing and *****ing again, saying that I can't jump while being shocked or gassed.

So, mercs aren't allowed to jump anymore?

When you are being shocked or gassed, does jumping prevent you from getting the effect? Like if you jump will you not be frozen or fall asleep?

He is just pissed that you use all your buttons.

Jumping an exploit? I think that seeing a spy thru a wall with your Electromagnetic vision and being able to kill him thru that wall is an exploit.

I think nothing is an exploit until it is an unprogrammed bug, and ruins the game experience for more than 5 people in one play session

Shooting through a wall is not an exploit.. if it's only on one wall.. then it is a programing error and could be considered an exploit.. I think what he was whining about with you jumping is he can't grab you from behind if you are in the air, right? So he calls it an exploit to not let him grab you and do his thing.. that's my thinking.. I like landing on the mercs heads more myself..
