This is truely a great game but:

I am getting serious clipping effects far to often. The clipping at the enterance to the Factory caused me a big headache because it made seeing the "docking" prompt hard to notice. I took me a few to realize that and get on with the game. The most annoying issue is when the game decides it is going to use wsad directional keys instead of the mouse. The mouse works great in the PC world. The keys do not. EVERY TIME I get to a tight situation where I need really good control the game defaults to the wsad key usage and I can't control Jade's direction accurately enough, or fast enough. She gets in this weird control mode and I have to think about how to get turned in the right direction and by then I lost my chance to do whatever it was in the first place.

Also, after the factory mission and I am back and doing the little descending puzzle via the keyed door outside of the bar, I can't get Jade to jump down after she sneaks around the corner protected by the two red lasers. She just stands there no matter what key combo I try. So, I am completely stopped now. I have a ton of games and I have NEVER been completely stopped before. The only option I can think of now is to reinstall the game and try again. I am not looking forward to that!

Is there anything I can do to get around this COMPLETE STOPPAGE?? Will a PC related patch to this game be coming out? You should kill the wsad key usage for PCs.

Basically I own a DELL 8200 with an ATI RADEON 9700 PRO. I believe I have all the latest drivers.

I agree with you on the wsad thing. I use edsf for mine because that's the position that I'm used to. You could configure the game to a gamepad...That's what I'll be doing when my copy comes in. It is like Metal Gear Solid for the PC, you can hardly control the game with a keyboard, but with a gamepad, it's no sweat. As for your problem, just consult an online stragedy guide, it should be able to help you out.

Yes, maybe those console controllers would work better at that. I still think the best controller (kind of) I have used so far is the SpaceOrb 360. At first I couldn't use it very well, but kept at it and the keyboard and mouse went by the wayside for a couple of years. You could really do some damage with that If you were good at it. To bad it went away..............lamenting the good old days.

I reinstalled the game. The manual says hit the s key to "hang down". However, this was not happening. Jade just would not jump down no matter what. I could see my $50 bucks going into the garbage can. So I just keep rotating her position until she finally "hung down". In the setup I have this would only happen if she was pointed straight at the laser fence and then turned a few degrees to her left (which was no mean feat to say the least).

The entire level was played with the keys and I will say again.........they are just not right for the PC. At one point I thought I was playing that game where everyone tried to keep their hands and feet on the dots on the floor and then end up all over each other. This with my fingers no less. If they ever make another one....which would be great... It would be nice if the PC version just sticks with the mouse.

Yeah, I couldn't agree more. The best controller I've found for myself is the Logitech Cordless Wingman. I found it new on Ebay for $25, I couldn't turn it down. It's almost a PS1 contoller with 3 more buttons. I have a Gamecube, and I'm quite fond of those controls as well, but you can't find a pc gamepad like that...
