Congrats man. I've got a beatlebass copy to use. And also scoping out a couple long-scale basses in case I get bit by the bass bug.

Nice beginner bass! The ESP's play MUCH better than the low end Ibanez bass and sound better too!

Yeah i tried the abss b4 buying it in the shop, compared top other low end bass it had a signature sound even if it is low quality, because the nother bass i tried at 2000$ were srlsy very good :P
i know its a cheap one but ill love it, i had the LTD F-50 as my first guitar. Already great body and neck but crappy other pieces

And don't forget to check out Squier basses (especially the Vintage Modifed and Classic Vibe lines) if you're looking for a great, yet cheap, Fender type bass.

yup, ill abe having fun specialy when i play guitar with my friend trying to learn bass:P
i way much better with guitar but for sure ill give some time to this instrument

The great thing about basses is the quality difference between a $200 bass and a $1000 bass is significantly smaller than the difference between $200 guitar and a $1000 guitar.
Almost any cheap bass is orders above any cheap guitar in way of quality.
You can be sure that any bass you buy will sound great. Simply put, heavier strings and greater tension require a better built instrument, even on the low end of the price scale.
Congrats though, that bass is a real looker! :)
