For some reason I can't get the console commands to work. I tried editing the target line every way i know how, but it always says the path is not valid. How do I do it?

when ingame always put a / infront of your commands.

ie /r_rendermode 1
or you could type in /r_ then press tab and this will bring up all the commands listing under r_

What you need to do is create a shortcut launch icon on your desktop and edit the line in that one.
Make sure you put a space in between the " and -DEVMODE as well. Hope this helps
