I traded in 2 bad games for one terrible game...
This has got to be the worst game I have playedsince buying a xbox 360. The game was already broken from the day it hit stores, but I gave the company the benefit of the doubt in hopes that they would fix it, not so. The latest update only made the servers worse and dont get me started on the half assed DLC (which shouldve been free). This is the last and final game I purchase from this company, this was such a huge let down and I reget trading in my games and spending my money on this game when I could've gotten a game with better servers, gunplay, and customization (Max Payne 3) fool me once.... Its a shame too because I was really looking forward to both Farcry 3 and Rainbow 6: Patriots.
You guys knew this game was unfinished when you released it upon the public, but did anyway and haven't even so much as made an apology, you should be ashamed of yourselves...

Yeah. They have these things called gems that you can equip and activate during fights. Some give you more power, more vitality, faster super, others allow you to do ultras by just pressing forward and either right bumper or left, no quarter circle or anything. But the noobiest noobish booba has got to be the block gem. It blocks for you... They also have a guard block gem...
I like the fighting and how it feels but these things are too hard to ignore. Oh and god forbid you go against a decent tag team... You'll be juggled until you die.

For crying out loud, there are no servers, it's just one person in that lobby of 12 people who's console is hosting the game.

Two months and two hundred of the same threads, and the same people still don't get it by now. What makes you think this time will be any different? You should just give up like me, and so should the people still *****ing about how they bought a game they didn't like two months ago.

There's some salvation in the campaign, which is a lot of fun to play.

I'm sorry to hear you have had a bad experience with this game! Can't say I have had the same, and its definitely not the worst game I ever played, its actually one of the better ones.

The fact you had to trade games to get a game says everything we need to know about you.
Best SP since last MOH better then COD and BF story.
As far as online goes
RGV1 > Socom Con > GRFS > GRAW All great

Well when you have lackluster internet service you run into these problems... I pay a few extra bucks every month for bigboy internet and have had a phenomenal experience with this game! And while you play the next installment of COD and prolly complain on that forum about everything that doesnt go ur way we will still be enjoying this with one less headache (you).

Lol I'm going to get on that right now just because you said that.
D
I didn't mind the single player story, though it was a big ridiculous when you destroyed buildings with a sledge hammer.

Games off the top of my head that are worse then this;
Call of Duty: World at War. (Russian campaign is the only saving grace. I found online brutally bad, and laggy. Zombies is fantastically horrible.)
Sonic the Hedgehog 2006. (Although, this game is hilarious. Romance between hedgehog and human girl. Oh, laughs were had.)
Resident Evil: Operation Raccoon City. (Lazy game. Has it's charm, but half of campaign is locked off through DLC, and knockdown lock combos galore.)
Well, to be fair I only bought two of the above.

Resident Evil Outbreak II
Help... Help... Help...
If you think this game has bad randoms, you ain't seen nothing yet... That game didn't have mics so you could only communicate through the games chat system which was very vague and if you fell down and started crawling, chances were you would be a zombie :D

Endwar was even worse than this on PC. Nothing quite as fun as playing 2v2v2 in world domination mode on launch week, and then having the enemy purposefully destroy all your units so you lose your first-tier upgrades...

^ homefront... Worst game ever. This game however is not, it's original fun and has a decent multiplayer. Homefront was a poorly done battlefield knock off with 13 guns.

You're kidding, right? The multiplayer in that game was incredible until the devs caved to everyone crying OP and completely stripped the game to cater to the Gamebattles crowd. Until all of the nerfs that was by far my favorite multiplayer game I've ever played; I was in the top ten on the overall Live leaderboards at one point. It's unplayable now unless you don't download the patches and play locally. So there's a cautionary tale here for Redstorm; if you try to appease the loudest voices to keep the whining down for the short term rather than using common sense and keeping the game the way it was meant to be played you'll end up losing your hardcore fans and the casual players that were just going to leave anyway when the next flavor of the month comes out.
Now if you'd said Red Faction: Armageddon I wouldn't argue with you. That was complete ****. Not the worst game I've ever bought, but it's pretty bad. Worst games I've recently bought have to be Bayonetta and Shadows of the ****ed.

Absolutely not... Homefront was a beast and nobody gives it the respect it deserves! still play that game today because it and GRFS are the two best shooters available currently... just because it doesnt have the pizzaz of BF3 doesnt make it a **** game. Homefront was/is the most balanced shooter when it comes to actual gameplay and being able to counter whatever the enemy throws at you... just too bad nobody gave it a real chance. I can't wait for number 2.

I agree with that, too. Homefront was a great game. It had some issues at launch, but it didn't take long to get fixed and once it did it was extremely fun to play. Seriously, it's like if a shooter's not a cookie cutter copy of every other shooter out there and has any kind of learning curve there's always a loudass group that complains about it, then everyone wonders why there aren't any original games out there and Call of Duty sets sales records every year.

I think you and I share the same brain ha... I was a huge MOH 2010 fan aswell, but because it wasnt COD or Battlefield nobody really wanted anything to do with it. GRFS is in the same crowd and I think UBI/Red Storm know that aswell. They know the fairweather players will move on once October/November comes with Activisions next copy and paste game. but the real fans will stick around for quite a while and I think thats when these more niche games shine, the best players and the most intense matches because all the clowns have left with the circus.

Is homefront online still populated? I remember playing the demo and I wasn't too excited about it, but I wasn't too disappointed with it either. I just might get that, MxP3 or both.
