I have an FX5900 non-ultra and I am trying to overclock it. it works great. I mean really great. I love it a lot. I am always bragging that the only tweak that I play with is "Landonday" or what ever it is called and with that tweak I only do it at half the recomendation of the tweak originator. I don't use LOMAN or any other tweaks. I play with sound exeleration ON, heat blur off, water on Med, Mir off, and everything else turned all the way up and still get good FPS. But like a true computer geek I am looking to Overclock anyway. Any sugesstions on programs I can download to help me push my vid card to it limits.

Hmmm...
On mine I have a slider wherein you can set the clock speeds for both the core and memory.
Then there is the page with the temperature control too.
I'm using the latest Nvidia drivers.
You may need to enable this stuff with the registry hack though or use one of the utilities which make the change to the registry.

Hey Jenkx11 if your looking to OC the card your best bet is to FLASH the 5900 with a 5950ultra bios. The 5950 is the same card as a 5900 minus the 256onboard memory and the fact that they did some smarter things with the bios and tweeked them for better performence.
When you flash the card it will ACTUALLY turn your card into a 5950ultra (again besides the memory) and your stock speeds will be 475/950 AND it will run 4 to 10 celcius COOLER then your original 5900!! It takes all of but 10 seconds to do. It also will give you some serious new overclocking room now that your actually running cooler yet with higher speeds from the boot.

Check the forums at guru3d.com for the directions and files. I flashed mine yesterday and it works great.

your card is the overclocked version on my card which is a 9600 pro.....you might be able to overclock further, but not too much...i use RadClocker to overclock my 9600 pro and you can get RadClocker here. (http://www28.brinkster.com/chrisww1942/download.htm)
RadClocker download is at the bottom of the page
