Save Games not there!

I am so frustrated right now. I just lost a day’s play time because my save games just disappeared. Both the one I made myself and the auto saves... This really sucks. Can I avoid this stupid error by being offline?????? I hate that it takes so long time to both log on and log out anyway and I don’t really like any of the online features. I just want a game that isn’t unnecessary slow and doesn’t throw away my save games. Please help. How do I avoid the cloud messing with my saves?

I would also like to know the answer to the question posted above. The cloud save has reverted my saves to ones going back several days meaning I have lost countless hours of gameplay. As someone who works in the IT industry I cannot believe that such a poor save game system has been put in place. Can Ubisoft respond to this post and tell us either how to get our save games back (All my latest save games should be from the 11.07.2012) and how to prevent cloud saves which are a waste of time anyway. HOMM V was a much faster game to load and play and also didn't need cloud saving - I don't see why his game has been worse with slow load times and cloud saving. Please Respond.

There are other threads about this. Basically no one at ubisoft or their associate companies have a clue as to run a game. They should all be given the boot. Has completely ruined any good reputation they had. Saved games in the cloud? Really. When you get the uplay screen up, why can't they add a "start offline button" at that point. Gosh these people have no clue how annoyed everyone is. Of course they have no clue. :)

I have the same problem with not solution. Have you found answer? Ready to quit and toss. To Sad, HMM 3 and 5 were favorites. So disappointed.

I just have no words... This was already the FORTH time when I lose saved games. Yesterday you wrote that 1.5.1 finally fixes old problems. And all people have to use old save files from version 1.4. OK. I deleted save files at all. I started new company. I played using version 1.5.1. Now I got OLD save files again. And (surprise!) these files are incompatible with version 1.5.1. They were created when I played using version 1.5. Dear developers, QC, and managers are you OK? And special thanks to those who decided to use clould technology. Really special.

On the second try I got my new files. Any chance that now everything will ok?

I don't know if it will bring your save games back, though I am sure they are on your computer, but I disabled cloud sync (but still stayed connected to Conflux) and that solved the problem.

Nope, problems are still there. I think they load the save games randomly.... Every time I start, I get a different set. When I have more time, I will just load the game until it finds the right set. Pretty impressive. Also finds old overwritten saves from 20 hours back. Very interesting... Cough cough. Choking on sarcasm dripping with frustration. I haven't been able to load the most recent saves on first try since I wrote the first post in this thread. I am actually angrier than when I experienced the ending for mass effect 3. And believe me. I still have scars on my soul because of that ^^

I just think it is incredulous, that it can really work THAT BAD!
