Punishment by Humiliation

Something happened in the game that gave me an idea. I'm not going to go into it because I don't really know all the details.

I think that instead of an outright ban for some offense, a player should have their armor changed to a pink tutu that confers a -40 health penalty. I present to you, my fellow ghosts, "The Tutu of Shame."

I'm not just joking, I really want to see this implemented. I know this doesn't really fit GRO's theme/aesthetic, but can you imagine the pain of trying to hide behind cover when your tutu sticks out all over the place?

Why stop at one tutu? Hell, might as well make an assortment of colors. Each color representing a harsher punishment/debuff

Maybe, but I'd lean towards different items, like replacing the helmet/hood/hat with a tiara, replacing the weapon with a "magic wand", and so on. The problem with this is the chance that going "full princess" might become fashionable.

Once the devs implement further character customizations, which they undoubtedly will given the fact that this game is free-to-play, adding things like The Tutu of Shame would be easy. Having said that, while it would be funny to see a plethora of "punishment gear", like a helmet with a strobe and a siren on it, I would caution taking this much further, lest the game turn into a cover-based TF2.

I like this idea, IDK about the Tutu not shameful enough IMO. Instead of a 2nd offense temp banned this should happen, followed by a temp banned if things don't change. Now a Banana suit that's my Idea of a shame suit! the top of the suit would poke up above cover so ppl would know the person is their. >=D
