Here is what I posted on Steam above one of my game issues. I helped me.
It is well known at this point that the game is not optimized for PC just yet and YETI errors are terrible, not to mention the MP disconnects. I still have those issues my self. I also have a really bad problem with slowing FPS as I play that makes the game unplayable after 20 min. Here is one fix that has seemed to help a lot. I can play Default setting at 55-60 fps barring a few maps that are really bad (Boat map and one other).
Steps:
1. Access the C:\%root%\programfile(x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\ Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon Future Soldier
2. Find "Future_Solider.exe.
3. Right click-->properties--->compatibility tab--> Check "Disable desktop composition" box.
4. In graphics settles disable Vsync and optionally, AA, motion blur, ambient occlusion. (if your not having to create custom resolutions than pick the appropriate size for your Vcard.) I recco leaving the defaults at first which has Vsync off already.
5. Enter the control panel for Nvidia or AMD.(example is for Nvidia). Go to "Manage 3D Settings" and select "Program Setting". Click "add"(ie the path above) and Browse to the Future_Soldier.exe and open.
6. Go to bottom of the internal scroll and turn on Triple Buffer and vsync. This should force the game to run native hertz or max 60FPS depending on your Card. (Note: The game is capped at 63FPS for 1.2 Patch and yes all Steam users have it.)
7. Test game with a FRAPS or other overlay. Enjoy!!
POSSIBLY IMPORTANT: I run Afterburner to overclock my Card but it seemed to cause problems. I turned my overclock off and closed Afterburner.
Setup: Win 7 x64, GTX560 SC, Q6700 @ 3.0ghz, DDR3 8GB.
Let me know how it goes.
