I'm curious as to how many of you play the game, especially with respect to the running/jumping puzzles. I have found that for me it's easier to perform running and jumping or just plain climbing on things from the third person POV rather than the first. I found this especially so on Gahreesan and Kadish Tolesa.
So what easiest for you?

I did the whole thing in first person. Gave me a better perspective, especially when jumping. The only place I would use 3rd person was in the game default scenes (of course) and trying to lure Shroomie to show him/her/it self.

Never played in any other than 3rd person POV.

I have just about used third person exclusively, unless I wanted to examine something close up or see something and the camera angle wasn't pointing in that direction.
Due to a balance disorder, using first person leaves me very dizzy and sick, so I was thrilled when Uru offered the option of third person. For me, even the jumping puzzles are easier in third.

Oh Pa'lua I so sympathize with you. While I don't necessarily have a balance disorder, 1st person POV will sometimes give me motion sickness. I love the fact that I can pop back and forth between 1st and 3rd ('Who's on first?' 'I don't know.' 'Third base.'). And as I mentioned I find the jumping and climbing aspects easier to deal with in 3rd person. Although I have to agree with Loriendil that the graphics are so good that the heights sometimes give me the heebie jeebies.
