ok you can kill someone with 1 shot to the head at any range with a assault rifle or sniper rifle.
my question is how many shots is it suppose to take with a smg i ask cause it sure isn't 1 or 2

Thank You Jester! I posted this on the feedback sticky (around pg 55 or so) and got no response. It doesn't even matter which SMG you are using. I've used them all. The detection is crap. This seems to be the only weapon that has the problem. I frequently get multiple hit markers while firing at enemies behind cover when they pop their head out and NOTHING! I thought it was just me that hadthis problem lol.

yea MRBLES i noticed this for a long time its just really starting to piss me off last nite im using my second scout trying to lvl him up and im just unloading on ppl's heads getting alot of markers then
i get shot 2-3 times and killed its insane.

it pretty simple hunk of lead leaves the barrel of a gun it hits skull and punctures brain mf'er dies but not on this game only certain guns can achieve this

It should be one shot like all the other guns. You can tell by using thcqe target range. When you shoot the silhouette on the head it goes pitch black.

Based on my experience with this game, I think the smg just shoots to fast to keep up with the connection issues thus making the first shot the only one that would count as a hd. I've also noticed that the rifleman class is the only class that takes more shots to kill with the smg, not sure if the helmet plays a role in that.

Or maybe the devs just messed up the gun.

Well the rifleman has the armored torso, so yea it does take more shots...too many I think but I can live with it. AP ammo does help some though its not as noticeable as it should be. But that headshot detection is ******ed. I could even go so far as to say 2 hits in the head on rifleman cause they wear a helmet. But even 2 shots won't do it! I would agree with the possibility that lag has something to do with it...it screws everything else up why not this hahaha.

While the SMG are bugged that you can kill enemy with 1-2 bullets only at any range without headshots, when normaly you need shoot 5-10 times to kill enemy when you don't get headshot.

Normaly SMG kills with 2-4 hits to head at any range.

Yeah but it also has a faster fire rate than an assault rifle, especially if you over gas it. I honestly don't feel a big difference between classes when it comes to auto's and you have to pay attention because riflemen have that vest that takes up bullets.

The only difference is the amount of bullets it takes to get a headshot.

If you hit them in the head it only takes one bullet, I have never had to take more than that. If it is taking you 4 then you are not hitting the head every time.

Oh trust me when I say this, the SMG's dmg went back to day 1 BETA. They adjusted them in the BETA and then without telling anyone they put them back during the BETA and played it off as if nothing happened.

Now they go and decrease the sniper rifle's damage....

They're killing the scout class.

BTW..ever notice those "tips" you see on the loading screen? This goes to show how f*cking stupid these developers are and whoever approves the sh*t they put on there...

...."A shot to the head is more lethal than a shot to the torso" ..........

NO SH*T SHERLOCK!!

who comes up with these dam things?

Yeah sure you have, just like those on here saying, "I've never had a problem with this game".

So when I (or others) see a plum of red coming from the guy's head as he stands up from cover and his head is the only thing exposed...or his head sticking out around the corner and you're scoped in.....that's just bad aim right? Even though I see a bright red plum as a hit marker as well as the orange X appear?

Yeah...guess we all have horrible aim.

Well when you see a stream of blood shoot out from the back of their head and they still manage to kill you then you know something's wrong.
