I've played pretty much every pc shooter ever made. I have played this to lvl 5 and this is my opinion. First, I get shot through a wall every now and again, unacceptable for an online shooter. Maps could be a little wider, they are too narrow, very linear like fighting down an alley. Two, the sniper rifles are too over powered and there should only be allowed so many sniper rifles per team. Too many sniper I feel like we are fighting to overtake a campsite (in an alley). Three, assault rifles have a bit much recoil and should have a little higher damage.

O.K. theses are just my opinions. I have seen online shooters come and go and a lot of serious online shooters will think the same way I do.

Otherwise, the movement is smooth enough. The graphics are decent for a free to play game. Matchmaking needs a lot of work and in my opinion the warmup before each round really not needed. But the game could be really good, maybe even beat Bad Company 2 with some twaeking.

Good feedback.

Few things to help you out a bit.

1. Angles Matter, your feet or toes or arms can be sticking out and you can get nailed. Get yer digits behind cover or they might get shot off. Also if there are gaps in the "Cover" you are hiding behind you can get tagged as people can through through those gaps. Also there is such a thing as light cover, you can get shot through grating for floors or ceiings and you can be shot through light sheet metal. If your still getting tag it may be a lag thing (Very rare) where someone shoots you on the way to the cover and for some reason or another it dosn't register

2. The problem with making maps bigger for a Tactical Shooter is sensory overload. You have too many places to look, too many places to check and too many places to hide. By making the maps smaller and much cleaner you can focus on the mechanics of the fight itself, choke points, assaulting defending so on and such as. In this reguard GRO is a team based game, you can't do it alone.

3. The starting Snipers require two shots to kill anyone one person unless it was a headshot or a crit. Against assaults they require 3. Recons have the worst HP and the worst armor so it is very rare for a Recon to survive two sniper shots (but it's doable) If your running into some serious sniping I would reccomend getting a cloak and a SMG and flanking them. You can round them all up and put them down just like that.

4. You can turn your Graphics up. This game looks absolutly amazing on High, but a tip for those that are new. Run it on Low to get less clutter and more ambient light.

5. And as usual feel free to find me in game if you have questions or just want to play, I'll run around with ya and be your wingman.

I understand the angles and made certain I had nothing hanging out of cover. As for graphics, my computer can run any game on the highest settings, I would like to see a high res texture pack at some point. To be honest I like larger maps that require me too look more places. I have great internet and a very good gaming computer I dont get much in the way of lag. In the future I would like to see the servers for games that have ping limits. High ping servers with lag compensation for those who need it and low ping servers for us with really good pings. But hey that's just me. I love realism in games, the best graphics I can possibly get and would love a game server with all low pingers. Anyways, I do like the game. I love Bad Company 2, But htis game has the potential (if optimized and tweaked right) the become and fun and addicting and welcome break ftom the usual fps.
