I dl'd the game this morning and played a few hours once I got home from work. The first thing I wanted to check out was the sniper rifles, as that is generally what I start out with. The aiming seemed pretty choppy, and was a make precise movements. It seemed like rather than having a smooth movement, it moved in a series of "jumps". This hasn't been an issue in any of my other games, so I'm assuming it will be ironed out before release. I increased my resolution to max, and it helped a little, but it's still a bit hard to make small movements.

Secondly, I'm not sure whether there are hit reg issues or whether there is something to do with the sniper rifle accuracy change in one of the posts below, but I found that I could be aiming straight at someone's head, and they just shrug it off.

Finally, the cover system seems a bit off. It seems like it's similar to the splinter cell cover, except quite a bit less smooth and less intelligent (it ends up doing things you don't want it to do), but that might end up just being me being unfamiliar with the game.

I do understand that this is a beta, but these are things I hope are ironed out before release.

Good stuff.

I'll point out some of the basics incase it helps you.

The jumping itself might be from stablity, you are far more stable and accurate wihile in cover allowing smoothing movements, even more so while you have a Bi-Pod attached to your rifle.

Standing or crouching and sniping is the worst of options and you'll find your rifle preforming slugishly as you try and make percise shots.
