First Post ,,sry if I Will make mistakes"

So Yesterday I downloaded GRO

First i installed on this pc, ok this pc is old and i can understand that it had performance issues
PC #1 (https://docs.google.com/open?id=0B46abOEiiLSVMjg5ZjczMTktMGQ3Ny00Yjk0LTgxM jAtMmU2N2M2MGExZTlm)

Then i installed it on this pc

PC#2 (https://docs.google.com/open?id=0B46abOEiiLSVYzZJNm5zZXRiLUE)

and the strange thing was that performance difference between this two was non existent laged the same there was no differenc in performance at all ????

Can some one tell me is this a bug or something that is my fault

my intranet speed if you are interested

First of all: common rule to use a forum as beeing a new user to it: use the search function. (btw i never get tired of saying this)
Would have took you less time to search but to upload you DXdiag.log.

Secondly: Most problems caused by software configuration, not by hardware.
So telling us that one system is faster then another would have done good as well as posting DXdiag.logs.

Thirdly:
I guess its just the common known bug with V-Sync, disable v-sync, enjoy the game. Bye.

/edit:
Forgot one, there is a feedback and a tec issue sub-forum. So there is a 'nonono'-wrong forum blame for you too.

Thank you for your replay

About dxd nfo i think it is the best way to help devs spot an issue

and about fps problem i do not have v sync enabled and i am still getting 19 fps

Devs dont handle user related problems directly. ;)
That input would go into a feedback and rewatch circle if a person related to that would find it. And trust me, this forum is a place where its just unlikely to happen.

Beside that, i have to admit that the problem is readable out of the DXdiag, supprise, its not a game-related problem. \o/ :D
PC#2 running with a On-Board GFX-Card solution, the dedicated memory only sized at 64MB.

There is shared memory alread, so you get to a total of 1696MB of GFX-Memory.
That should be enough in theory, but there are two problems with that.
Shared memeory will never be as fast as dedicated memory thats located on a GFX-Card.
And there is no spec for the Intel HD GFX Family, it could be way slower than your GT9500.

My advice would be: try to put the GT9500 into the PC#2.
But, PC#2 is a laptop i guess, at least it looks like.

A problem could also be that the gfx-driver for the PC#2 dont perform resolution available in GRO that good.
What game-setting do you use to get 19fps?
Native display resolution 1440x900?(dont know if GRO offer this)
Could be a little bit too much for the system.

Thank you again for your replay

i thought GeForce GT 540M had its own ram but if it uses shared memory ok
I Will justify performance issues and will not blame coders even though i can ran bf 3 with better graphics and fps

I am running this game on 720 P

and sry i am a linux guy, it is tight community so i thought devs would be looking into this site :)

Your welcome.

Not to blame the devs, but in commercial development, espacialy in the entertainment branche, there is hardly any direct support for tec issues.
GRO has a overall bad gfx-performance in my opinion.
Its reasonable BF3 runs better, the engine is just incredible in terms of performance.

Bad news is, 720p is too much for this kind of gfx-processor.
I run GRO on a 9800 GX2 with a similar CPU and RAM with a resolution of 1280x1024. Sometimes the amount of frames dropping down to around 28.(intense firefights)

Ive not played the new version of GRO yet but i guess this wont be better until release.

I think there's definitely some kind of probleme with the GRO gfx engine performance-wise.

It should really give decent fps on some configurations, but somehow it isn't. I really don't know what's causing it. And it seems that the devs are either not aware of this issue, don't know how to fix it nor what's causing it...

In your case PC#2's gfx card is at the bare minimum for GRO's minimum system requirements for notebooks and it's CPU is about 300Mhz below sys reqs.
Your PC#1 should give you more fps in case it's a desktop.

Its common use in betas that the performance is weak.

For GRO i think it is caused primarly by two factors:
The engine got trouble itself.
A debugger or logger is running in the background.

So i wont judge the overall gfx-performance until i played the release version. :)
