You can see the three letters on the main menu screen and also on the tactical/feed board on the Paladin.

SMI is an abbreviation for Strategic Mission Interface, the SMI is a new operating system that Sam can use to help him analyze, assess, and determine the best course of action.
This results in myriad options when it comes to a player's approach to an encounter or situation. The player has the option to call in air support for a messy, show-stopping kill just as easily as going for a silent and lethal melee attack.

Actually, now I just watched the G4 bit it sounds like the SMI is the big glass table Grim and Sam are standing at. Apparently it will show the Player all of the available Maps that can be accessed. SP, Co-op, MP, and the Player will be able to jump into any mission/match really easily.

Sounds like a new Menu Interface. 'System Mission Interface'?...I didn't catch it in the bit.

Sounds good though. I liked SCC menu's and interfacing. I wonder if they can improve on them.

I didn't like the menu and interface of SCC. It wouldn't be bad but I loved the digital, OPSAT look of the previous games (DA360's start menu was akin to SCC in that it wasn't the OPSAT like SAR, PT, or CT BUT the in-game interface for objectives and all that was still the OPSAT. I hope the start screen is the same picture as the demo start screen and the in-game pause is the OPSAT (and you can quit game or switch "tabs" and view objectives and all that) OR the pause screen is some screen with the same color scheme as the demo start screen with Options, Save Game, Revert to Last Save/Checkpoint, Quit Game, etc. and the back button will be the OPSAT (like it was in DA).

I agree with Solid, I liked SCC menu style alot, having the screen shift from right to left, revealing more and more of the static image, it was really cool.

Regarding the SMI and SP, I wonder if in some instance we may have access to more than one mission, and we choose which mission to tackle first and what not, I wonder also if that is there will it affect the story at all ?!

& Warner Brothers only bought Mortal Kombat from them. So, no way to see the continuation of Psi-Ops 1's crappy cliffhanger :mad:

WoW that actually looked really good. indeed it is better than SCC, but I also like this style more than static images.

I'm a huge, huge Max Payne fan (didn't knew about the Matrix at the time)... plus Max Payne's idea was created in 1997 if I remember correctly

I have a thing for shootdoging while in slow motion :cool: so... my opinion is going to be biased lol

The devs making this game made a name for themselves by injecting Havok physics engine with their own destruction & physics engine and called it "Massive D" and add to that diving and slow motion... you'll get stupid fun gameplay.

videos on youtube don't give it Justice. I recommend downloading the Demo at the X360 marketplace or Ps3 store

^ i love max payne too.I played stranglehold but did not impress me as much as max payne did.it had a lot of flaws (short SP,repetitive levels) But overall it was a good action game.
I think it came out somewhere in 2006-2007.
But overall i prefer MAX PAYNE.

I want another one of those, with different equipment like SC-3000, Tactical Cross Bow, Different Suit, maybe a different Goggles too, ......etc

I just love those kinda of things.
