I doubt this would ever happen but...

SPLINTER CELL: THE COMPLETE SERIES
This idea came to me while watching gameplay videos of the ps2 version of the bank mission in CT. It was a lot different than the xbox version. Some would say not as good but one can't argue that the layout is at least a bit different. Now I was thinking about how Sonic the Hedgehog has had numerous game compilations like Sonic Mega Collection (and the Plus version) and that SC had the trilogy released for PS3 (which were the xbox versions)

But what if they released an ultimate collection for all systems? It would include
SC:SAR - Xbox version
SCPT - Xbox
SCCT - Xbox
SCDA - X360
SCC - X360
SCB - X360

You could play any of those titles from the start. Upon completing certain challenges or beating the games you get special unlocks likeee:
SC:SAR - the PS2 and Gamecube versions
SCPT - PS2 and GC
SCCT - PS2 and GC
SCDA - Original Xbox version and PS2 and Wii versions
SC:Essentials - If it was possible for a port from the PSP onto the console and they fixed the controls which was the main complaint wasn't it...? I'm not sure all I know is that it had original missions and altered missions.
SC:SAR Vselka DLC/PC Missions
SCCT - Co-op DLC Missions
SCC - Insurgency DLC
Any SCB DLC that is released.

Basically this would just be for fans who want the COMPLETE experience and would be willing to replay the same basic game over again to get slightly new surprises, etc.

I'm not sure if they could or should include the handheld versions othat aren't 3-d as in the side scrolling N-Gage versions of SAR or whatever.

What do you think? Also when you unlock the DLC for the games you can play the separately (like on the list it'll say Vselka DLC) or you could load up SAR and the missions will be there as well.

I, personally would LOVE this because I would get to play the Nuclear Power Plant PS2 mission from SAR as well as the altered versions of missions for different consoles (I think in the gamecube version of SAR on the Presidential Palace had a sequence where you go through the sewers under the palace? Could be wrong.)

But yeah.

They already released an HD collection at the same time as the mgs Hd. The splinter cell HD collection had so much potential, but unfortunately it fell flat to the mgs collection.

The lack of multiplayer was a dealbreaker for me.

which version did you get ?!, The Disc or the Digital ?!.

Also does CT use a Free-Save System like on the PC or was it replaced by God's Awful Check points ?!

The PS2 version had the sewer section too. It was very cool.

Oh yeah, if this went the way I dream of it, it'd be amazing. It'd be released for the PC, Xbox 360, PS3 and the wii (if it could handle it)

And would be sort of like the final SC game for this gen that basically recaps and shows every iteration (minus the 2D games) of Splinter Cell. I'm thinking there would be the ability to save at any point in ALL games (if they could go back and add that in). So in SAR you'd be able to Quick Save, Save, etc. or you can go classic style and go by the checkpoints. SCC would also gain the ability to save at any location.

Basically, if at all possible, they could update the classic games with a "New" mode and a "Classic" mode.

Imagine if they did what Halo Combat Evolved Anniversary did and added a next gen graphics over the original game while still preserving the gameplay? Or even tweaking gameplay for the New Mode.

Imagine whistling in SAR and having a guard come and doing a corner takedown from Double Agent with Double Agent-esque graphics. Or killing Grinko in next gen graphics. Giving Sam a knife in SAR and PT. New tweakable options such as if you want a visible Sound Meter in CT -- Elite mode in all the games or adding First Person modes.

The game would be huge, ridiculous, but amazing. It could even come out for the next gen consoles and be like a welcome gift for new fans, old fans, etc. to the new console while another team develops the next new SC game.

Imagine seeing the rain effects and graphics of DA 360 from the Shanghai mission in the CIA HQ mission. Variable speed added into SCC as well as the Moving Bodies animation from Blacklist.

THAT would be worthy of a hundred dollar game. They could even just sell it on their website as opposed to stores since if they had a game that price on store shelves -- the average fan would not buy it.
You could turn on NVG blind effects from PT if you want, change NVG in any of the games from black and white "static" NVG to CT's fisheye light green to DA 360's bright green NVG or use full colored NVG. SCC would be given a new set of goggles if you'd want which are nightvision only and when you start the game in D-Ops it'll ask you what goggles you want to use as well as at the start of the single player.
