I'm going to try very hard to give this game a chance

I have been a Splinter Cell fan since the very first game came out. I was crushed when I heard Michael Ironside won't be the voice of Sam Fisher any longer. Ubisoft did give a decent reason for this change though. I'm one of those people that doesn't like change very much but I'm going to try very hard to give this game a fair chance. I preordered Splinter Cell: Blacklist yesterday so hopefully I didn't waste my money.
