I am sure a lot of you will agree that Ubisofts change of gameplay style in recent games such as Conviction, Future Soldier and now black list is not what made these games what they are today. Why would they think they have to change the game so much that it is beyond recognisable. People need to stop giving these developers a slap on the wrist and telling them there games is ok. Otherwise they are going to continue doing the same rubbish gameplay with a repetitive mark and shoot system which is overused not just in Splinter Cell but now Ghost Recon. Mark and Shoot should stay with rainbow six games only as they use to be. In a nutshell why try to fix something that isn't broken? I tell you why because they are forgetting the fan base that made these series popular and aiming for a totally different direction, *cough* Call of Duty. C'mon Ubisoft what happened to the realism? What happened with passing a level without killing no one, hiding bodies to avoid alarms, crawling as slow as possible just so they didn't hear you? How come Sam Fisher went from this patient spy who used the dark as his main weapon, to this leap frog who turns into some kind of Max Payne/ Rambow that somehow is more flexible and faster then he was in his youth? I wouldn't care if Splinter Cell was delayed if it meant they brought back "Splinter Cell", no not that stealth version of uncharted I mean the real Splinter Cell. People really need to speak up about this I know I may sound harsh but I played Splinter Cell since day one and it feels like it is dead and gone and if Ubisoft can't stick to the good old games then they should of closed the book on this game after Double Agent.
People reply to this thread and stand up for what splinter cell really is. I no I am not the only one who thinks the same I have the comments on youtube and on this forum.
Thank you :)
