Punkbuster, is a good anti cheat for one reason, it self updates. It stops known hacks, but not all. But stopping the known hacks is all I can ask for, if it cuts 90% of the hackers I'll take that. Also from what i've heard it works well for quake III and AA

The only thing bad about punkbuster it checks youre system files every once in a while (about once everytime you play the game) and it chugs up the game for a few seconds, thats it.

Other than that, Its dosent lag anything up. Download Americas ARMY, Or Return to Castle Wolfenstien: Enemy Territory (two free games) to check out how PunkBuster works..
