Laser mic the elevator & patch 1.2b

Is It necesary to download the patch 1.2b to get through the mission where you have to laser-mic the glass elevator??

I tried this mission over and over but when the conversation ends, it is always "what are you doing Fisher??This mission is over"!

I downloaded the patch (SCUS_CA_Patch_1.2b.exe) as some said, but this patch doesn't work because it is the patch for the US. Is it necesary to download the european patch?? Where do i find that one??

To get past that part on some computers, it is necessary to use the 1.2b patch. You can d/load the European version from www.splintercell.co.uk (http://www.splintercell.co.uk)
