Sign this if you need Ironside, the ONLY Sam, to return. With all the audio technology that we have nowadays I'm sure they can dub him in. I respect the new VA but he is just not Sam. Its like Sam's soul was sucked out...

On a side note they got rid of Agent 47s VA too, WTH???

Yep, two formerly great stealth franchises (Hitman and Splinter Cell) are now skipping through a pile of manure while holding hands. It's a tragedy.

David Bateson was the voice of Agent 47. Sadly he isn't anymore.

I didn't make the petition, just spreading it. That is pretty bad though now that I see it.

I signed it but whoever started the petition spelled Sam Fisher's name incorrectly in the title.

I think that Michael Ironside's portrayal of Sam Fisher is too valuable to sacrifice for the reasons they've stated.

The new voice actor is great.....as a new character. Not Sam Fisher. A game my change but ones voice doesn't. So don't change it!

And don't try to troll me about puberty voice change you know what I mean :)

Instead how about a STANDING OVATION for Mr Ironside as a sign of gratitude for all he has given us over the last decade in Splinter Cell. A TRUE professional and a great talent who certainly did SO much for the character of Sam Fisher.

And how about just a little bit of room for Mr Johnson (?) as an expression of our high hopes for his ability to do the same, in filling the shoes of a Legendary Voice Actor.

Job well done Mr Ironside. Thank you. You will be missed, and only forgotten after we, as a community, reach our own inevitable ends.:D


And thank you to the starters and signers of the petition, for your admirable, if somewhat emotionally charged efforts at showing Michael our true devotion and gratitude for his contribution to the Splinter Cell franchise.

I of course give Ironside all my respect for what he has done! He just needs to close out the character of Sam proper
