It's official! Splinter Cell: Blacklist will be shipped spring 2013! I just watched the E3 2012 "Xbox Event" and they showed a playthrough of a part of the newest Splinter Cell game, Splinter Cell: Blacklist. It reminded me a lot of Ghost Recon: Future Soldier and seemed very actiony. Maybe it was just that mission and the way he decided to play it, but there was a lot of explosions, slitting throats, and fire fights. One thing that immediately caught my attention was the fact that SAM FISHER DIDN'T SOUND LIKE HE WAS VOICED BY MICHAEL IRONSIDE! Maybe I didn't hear it correctly but it didn't sound like him. The mission they showed looked like it was in the Middle East and they said something about the main plot being about terrorists demanding that we withdraw all our troops or they'll "bring the war to you." They also said Sam Fisher is now in charge of Third Echelon. Sam did don his trifocal goggles and usual stealthy outfit though. Sam had no grey hair and looked pretty young. We'll have to see what else get's revealed down the road.
