Energy earned over time

I was playing on my laptop and put it to sleep with it running in the browser in the background.
the next morning I resumed playing and the app acts like no time has passed. This stinks because I could have played another full session of my energy bar.
Please tell me if that is a problem on my side.

Try clearing the cache and cookies on your browser. My guess is that they are showing you false levels. Reload the page and look at it again, and let us know if there is still a problem.
