Im fed up of getting booted/banned from servers and accused of cheating just because Im a talented and skilled player. Hopefully playing in servers with PB will shut up the idiots who cant accept me owning them on a daily basis. Just because I regularly get scores like 20-2 or 30-6 in 10 round matches doesn't mean Im a cheat. Today I got 36-6 in 12 rounds... the admin's conclusion.... I must be cheating.

TO THE ADMINS OF THE SERVERS WHO KICKED ME:-

I really hope you are going to apologise when Punkbuster arrives and I own you as I did before.

Ahhh but you know what it is don't you mate? It's players who (wrongfully) deduce that they must be playing a cheater if they are being owned when they should be owning cos they have the cheats on. I'm keeping it general here see ;-)

Still general comment! But that is one of the fatal flaws of many cheaters (and cheat detectors); it is not the number of kills that give a player away, it is the way in which they obtain those kills - rediculous headshots, pre-aimed room rushing, finding the camper in the unconventional hidy holes, full running headshots etc etc. And it's not the one-offs; it's the consistent way in which these miraculous feats are achieved. And it gets obvious.

But one must ask, given an admin who clearly has the motivation to play enough to warrant the expense of a clanserver (and hence obviously have enough gaming hours to know better), should he/she not be able to detect cheaters the proper way rather than the lame, "he kill too much - he must be cheater" method?

I can, however, see that this would be a valid way of detectioin if the player being owned thought himself a good player and he had the cheats on. Clearly, the "you shouldn't be beating me - hence you're cheating" claim might hold some significance.

As it turns out (in this case) we have witnessed the very same players cheating, and (more importantly) witnessed countless other accusations levelled at them in several other servers, by players that we don't really know but have a lot of respect for, to the point that I can only conclude the reason for the ban was based on the fact that the clan in question should not have been beat since they are good and they have the cheats! They should be unbeatable right?

Ah well - does it really matter? At the end of the day when something like this happens, although it's unappreciative of your skills, who really cares? At least you won't accidentally join that server again and find yourself playing with a bunch of arrogant cheaters ;-)

I constantly get a much higher score on 9tn that that but you guys still ban me and m0ney. I dont think 9tn has any business in a post about admins that accuse and boot because they loose.

Well said Felps..agree! We can all brag about good kill rates from time to time. It doesn't tell anyone how good you are, only that you slaughtered a few unfortionate JohnDoe's.

Where and when felps and deficite??? Come watch me play and witness me get consitently high scores. Any server you like (preferably once PB is out so that there can be no accusations).

The truth is that I am a talented player who has played this game far too long and far too much, hence the high scores. I aint no noob coming in here trying to big himself up, Im just a decent RVS player who wants to be respected for getting high scores, not abused and banned from servers.

If either of you were in my position you would feel the same, but I guess you aren't skilfull enough to have got over 30 kills in a 10 round match so you wouldn't know. Instead you are just jealous and disbelieving that anyone else could possibly be better than yourselves.

Man you got one big ego. Do you not realise no one is jealous of your 30-6 scores. Some people just play this game to have fun. Stop trying to flaunt out how good you are and blame people accusing you on them sucking. Just live with it and go to another server. You aren't the only one i feel your pain and personally can't wait for PB but just chill with the ego and go play.

lol... yesterday I went 24-0 on the :RULE: server on Penthouse. Our side had a few in my clan and some n00bs along with 1 RULE guy. The other side had 8 :RULE: guys. On the 8th round (out of 10) the one :RULE: guy on our team walks up to me and TK's me (on purpose). I WAS P1SSED! Does ANYONE know how hard it is to get a goose egg and plus 25 kills on a full public server with 16 guys running around? Ohhhhhh... I was fuming./i/smilies/16x16_smiley-mad.gif

This is just wrong and un-excusable for a clan to do. It's just low and dirty. Apparently, they couldn't handle someone goosing their whole clan /i/smilies/16x16_smiley-tongue.gif

On this map... on this server... on this day I was simply on a roll... and they spoiled it. Grrrrrrrrrr...

Im not the best player and there are alot of people better than me but getting accused of cheating is getting old, im realy getting sick of people implying that I cheat, and the sad thing is when PB does come out it still wont be "GJ" or "nice shot" it will be "omg PB's hacked already".

Im not sure if your mistaking 9TN with a diff clan.the only clan that we baned was min for being as*hol*s and tking on purpose and just plain old Bad sportsmanship.We do kick ppl who camp there spawn points as we enjoy ggs and not camp fests.only ppl banned are ppl that were kicked for camping returned and tked whole team.Im sorry if you had a bad experiance in one of our servers.and Tus_Tiger comes in with Money so your misstaken or you are a Bitter camper.

Octane's been into the gas fumes I think /i/smilies/16x16_smiley-wink.gif As a former regular of the 9TN server, the only ppl I saw booted were relentless campers and as indicated earlier, members of a well known clan for being very, very poor sports. But yes, if like the /|\, you will be booted for holding everyone else up.

To the guy who started this thread: I defy you to enter the 9TN server with it's full complement of skilled regulars (not when there's no reg's and it's random guys) and pull off those type of rounds, and would even goes as far as to put some paypal $ on it. If that room is filled with namely players from: 9TN, SWAT, Force, VDP & TUS for e.g. (just naming clans that play there regularly) you <u>won't</u> be pulling off 30-6's, sorry to burst your bubble, bub...but 12 - 7 will be a good round for you.

You wanna try it when PB comes out and lay a token amount of p/p dolla's for sh*t & giggles, lemme know. I'm sure Thunder will put up too /i/smilies/16x16_smiley-happy.gif
