Stable/Nursing Barn Glitch?

I recently bought the Nursing barn, and from my understanding, horses that are retired are supposed to move there, freeing up the stalls in my regular Stable. But that's not happening correctly.

Here's my entire farm. You can clearly see I only have four horses total: One retired, three still aging.

And another of my Retirement barn. The retired horse shows up in there just fine.

And here are caps of my Stable, with the three aging horses there, and the open stalls I have.

With 5 open boxes, and only 3 still-aging horses in them, I should have 2 open boxes, not just 1. The Retired horse seems to be appearing in both stables at the same time, or at least, still taking up room in the regular stable that he's not supposed to.

This is still happening. Now I have two boxes unlocked in the Nursing barn, and both of my retired horses show up there, but their stalls in the regular Stable are still not listed as "empty".
