No one outside of the UK has any ability to even get these codes as kick is not sold here. So I would like to throw my hat into the ring asking for a spare code as well as I live in the US.


I've said this before and I'll say it again, stealing from your customers to sell pieces of what they have paid for is bad for PR, I will make sure to tell the story of these unlocks to anyone and everyone that will listen for the rest of the time I spend in gaming forums. I will let everyone know what UBI did as to warn them they will do it again, be it AC, Far Cry, GR, SC, or whatever else they do. I will make sure people know about this so people will not mistake UBI as one of the "good" companies that give their customers what they paid for.

I dont think I've ever seen an energy drink called 'kick' up in the north of the UK... i wonder if its just a southern thing... I'll keep an eye out for it. if i get a few codes I'll post 'em after I've verified my own

I used to see "Kick" energy drinks in my local Tesco's supermarket stores and before anyone tells me its a UK only promotion...I'm in the UK so.... I checked the other day for Kick energy drinks but the closest thing i could find was something called "KX" energy drink which might be its new name or simply a new brand name altogether for an energy drink. Either way I had no luck so far finding the Kick drink GRFS promotion codes.

Also would it be possible for anyone working at Ubi to give us an idea of which retailers are participating in this Kick drinks promotion for GRFS and has the promotion started yet?

On a blog somewhere i cant find anymore i saw a picture of a Kick energy can with a Ghost Recon picture on,this was the product (ignoring the batman promotion) i dont think this is Tescos Kick,now KX.

The specially marked cans are probably not yet in stores if those in the UK haven't seen them yet. If the code is unqiue then anyone outside the UK will probably have to find someone selling them or offering to trade/barter/give the code on various forums or selling on ebay.

It's no different than the EA Dr Pepper promotion or NOS rewards being limited to the USA and everyone outside the USA being able to get a code(s) either through an online promotional offer or buying a code from someone on ebay, etc.

I wouldn't worry about it, and ultimately the content will probably be made available on PSN/XBLM/PC sometime in the future for a price.

I just had this reply from Kick Energy, I contacted them direct...here is their exact words!

"We are anxiously awaiting our shipment of Ghost Recon promotional cans. We don't even have them yet. They are exclusive to the US but we may try to come up with something for our loyal fans everywhere. Keep checking in."

I received that reply 16hrs ago!

the fiveseven has better range and accuracy and will be more controllable in sustained fire. and you wont have to spend ages reloading every 5 shots... that is a fine compromise to me
just because its got more stopping power doesnt make it better.

I wasn't too impressed with the pistols available in the Beta.

Unless you got a headshot (which was largely down to whether or not you got the drop on your target), they were pretty much a death ticket.
I'd much rather have a mini-shotgun that I can land a couple good gut shots and take 'em out quickly and reliably.

Just gotta hope someone's feeling generous. /sadfaec

with the stupid idea to give every player double primaries in the story mode even when playing co-operatively you will never really need to use the side arm to begin with unless you run out of ammo on both guns and dont have time to reload one.

that is unless you intend to spend your days playing saboteur of course...

to me Future Soldier has done the right thing and made sure a side arm remains just that... a back up weapon. I think i only saw one moron running around with his pistol out all the time... he was not a worth while member of the team for either side... aside from being cannon fodder

Well there are certain segments during the campaign where you have to draw your sidearm anyway, usually VIP escort sections.

My point was simply that considering their performance in the Beta, I'd rather have a sidearm that does more damage than one that's more accurate. At least there's plenty of those on the Bodark side.

You can probably find some at your local liquor stores I heard Kick often mixes well with some hard alcoholic brands. Walmart, 7-Eleven stores or gas stop stores like Citgo, Shell, or Cheveron sometimes carries Kick Energy though you have to check in your area.

America gets lots of promotions that other countries don't, with the worst offender being Nintendo with their pokemon events. There will be events in all major American cities, all over Japan and one in Germany leaving lots of people without the ability to get event only rewards legitimately.


As a Brit, I will give any spare codes to people on these forums as soon as the promotion gets underway.

GRN site is down at the moment, well the weapon unlock part is anyway so unable to input the code, but I received that code when I entered the competition, so I would say its 100% right.
I copied and pasted the code, so I posted the code as it was given to me by Kick. :)
