Alas, I have stayed away too long. I am now reading that URU Live will no longer be. Oh how this saddens me but does not surprise me in the least. Did I not speak of the ramifications of delay? Did I not forewarn of the possible outcome? Did my words only fall on deaf ears? Although at this point, nothing I can place logic with will resurrect URU. The last words have been written, the book, unfortunately, looks to be finished and closed.

yah yah yah, lots of doomsayers who get to say they're right. While if it had succeeded the naysayers would be saying "it's coming I tell you, it's going to fail any minute now!" ... It's life http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

Sorry Arisia, proabably your post did not have the desired effect; I burst out laughing.
I didn't mean to laugh at you, but I could just picture your gloomy face and sombre voice when you said it.
Please Arisia, lighten up, this is not the end of the world, not even for URU devotees. Besides, most of us (including the Makers) have good hope URU Live will return.
No offence I hope, you just happened to tickle my funny bone... sometimes I have a bizarre sense of humor http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_wink.gif

I had a different reaction. It was a "trip down memory lane" for me - seeing what we said before we knew what we know now! I also scanned through to see if what I said then made any sense now. Whew - not too bad. It's amazing the difference two months can make.
I'm very glad it's not all gone - I too am looking forward to the expansion packs.

I'm looking forward to the expansion packs too now.
Now that there's no possibility of screwing up other people's games I can't wait to see hwat hacks people come up with.
I'm looking forward to people figuring out how to spawn items, fly, change gravity. I think some enterprising person may even nuke out how to create their own ages.
