What is the max on treats without having a food pantry?

According to my inventory currently, and I don't have the pantry yet (nor do I have all the treats in my inventory):
5 apple cookies
40 apples
5 Caraway Candy
5 Honey Crunchy
That's not all of them though...I don't have any carrots currently for example.
