View Full Version : Frustrated with constantly spending and buying House Credits

I'm literally seconds from calling it quits on this game because almost every purchase you have to make except for the medicine at the pharmacy requires you to have House credits and I can't risk spending and more real money on credits because the payments are linked to my cell phone account and I'm on a family plan that my parents are paying for so I can't risk upping the bill by constantly buying House credits because my phone bill will cost alot of money and I'm gonna risk getting in trouble for it. I think it's best if a large majority of the items in the game were being paid via Budget with the exception of the special edition or rare items since we're able to earn Budget dollars by constantly treating patients in the clinic. Jut thought I'd give you my opinion.

I agree. My parents are paying my credit card, and i can't risk upping the bill... I need to eat and go to parties too! :p

I understand ubbersoft, they need money!! But the costs are too high!

Great forum!!

What exactly do you need to spend House Credits on? Currently, you can play the entire game without spending these credits. For example, to get supplies you simply cure pharmacy patients with medicine which you buy with budget(Which is free to earn). I can't think of a single time you need to spend House Credits unless, of course, you are trying to speed up gameplay.

Let me know if you need help with getting any items!

So Kate just how does one buy the medicines with budget money? All I see is the credits amount no instructions on how to use the budget money unless one is UPGRADING which takes a lot I mean like 400 to upgrade and the way my budget money keeps disappearing I may never get there. So is that the only way to use the budget money as you suggested?

If you're talking about buying pills, you click on the pharmacy table and pick the quantities of pills you want, and the budget you want to spend, click on the button and the timer starts and you will get the pills you asked for in the time you choose. Is there something else you're referring to when you are talking about medicine?

How do you get anything from the store like IV bags without having to use House credits. I don't want to have to always buy them.

You can pick patients in the waiting room that have an IV bag as a reward for sending them to the pharmacy. That's how I do it. Click on the patient, and it will give you three categories: Send to the lab, Send to the Pharmacy, or Long Term Care. Each patient sent to the pharmacy has a different reward when you go there and give them the required medicine. If you pick a patient that shows you'll get an IV bag for a reward when you issue their meds, you will get cash and you will get the IV bag. You don't always have to buy ANYTHING in the game. Thanks for playing.

Can you please make it where medical supplies (oxygen masks. syringes, etc.) cost budget instead of House points? Because otherwise we waste energy, time, medicine, and effort to get the supplies we need to cure long-term-care patients to get Ward Favor points.

I can't understand why it has to cost energy to see what the patient in the clinic may be "worth," or to pick up meds. That's just a bit ridiculous. It takes so much "energy" to do little things that you can't really enjoy the game. You run out of "energy" before you get to cure the main case. And then you need House Credits to buy more energy - there is no option to use budget money. Need to rethink that...:(

But by then, it has already cost you energy. Why can't we see the "payout" before we spend the energy???

Thank you for your comments. You don't HAVE to buy anything, but only if you want to speed things up. I understand your complaint, and the game is constantly being fine-tuned. Perhaps this will be adjusted sometime in the future. Everyones' comments are always appreciated. Thank you.

I just started a couple of days ago with this game. I can't purchase credits without putting a credit card on file with Paypal. I was lucky to earn credits, but this is nuts having to purchase items with them.

10 credits for one item? Crazy. I refuse to buy credits.

Again, you don't HAVE to buy anything. What exactly are you required to buy? Buying credits speeds things up for players, but there is not one thing in the game that you can't do for free. Thanks for playing.

You get those things by treating patients in the pharmacy, treat more patients in the pharmacy and you'll have enough. Also requesting items from friends is a good idea. I've made it to lvl 20 in under 2 days and I've only spent 3 house points.

I think they should offer a daily log in bonus to get credits.

Well I am at the beginning pretty much and can not move on because I need to purchase using house credits a tongue depresser, there is no way that I can see to make one. That is very frusterating also the amount of energy that is used such as 5 to revive and 8 I think it is to search for clues. It is too bad because this game looks like fun but I am not willing to spend real money in order to play the game.

Hello, anonomous2012 -- again, there is NOTHING you have to spend money on to play the game. You can get tongue depressors by choosing the right patients in the clinic, trust me!

Thanks for playing!

Seems like a walkthrough or introduction video is necessary for a couple of people.
