NEEDHELP!!!!WITH LEVEL

Ok im at the "Boat" level and i got to the 5th "Check point"(were it saves). And when i got to load the game i hear a "plup"(like i just fell)and half my life is gone and i can not use any of my guns and can not move! ,and im inside the radio tower. Please help!!

Terms like "5th check point save" in boat level will likely bring instant association/awareness to the artist or artists who DESIGNED and CODED it,or the obsessesed Far Cry fanatic who is on their 7 or 8 hundreth trip through it,but for mere mortals who might actually respond in a helpful way,you can help yourself by being more specific.
Yeah,yeah,I know; it's traumatic to come out of a checkpoint and, bang! -downhill you go in a big hurry...
Boat level: three transmission towers on three separate islands,as far as you know? A surprise awaits you....
Which radio tower are you currently mucked up about? I'm guessing it's the first. I'll also guess that you came down the stairs (in rough shape -no armor?) to plant the charge,spotted an armor/health pickup,and let your guard down. I'll guess that you got capped by an orange-suited tech merc with a handgun,which is devastating at close range. Bear in mind their likely presence on your next tower visit...Or you got capped from behind because you didn't do a proper job on the outside mercs before you entered,and a "leaker" trailed and nailed you. No shame that,and the sneaky/wily AI is part of what makes this game so much fun...So if you haven't figured out who shot you yet,you might try a sweeping turn until you spot the source of your "discomfort". Be patient;it may take a try or 5,but you'll be motivated to discover him or them. And when you do,you'll design the appropriate response.
If you're still symied,check back here with a more detailed description of where you are and what you've just completed to get there,and I'm sure you'll jog the memories of someone (like me) who's already been there and done that. Then you're likely to get a bunch of responses. Check back and good luck!

If what 'kjeej' suggested does not work, simply load the previous savepoint & play from there.

OK, so you have to repeat a chunk of the game but you will likely do it better & quicker & be prepared for the Hari Krishna Mercs!

Glad you worked it out,regardless of how. An easy work-around suggested by jvw. Krishna mercs on Boat level? Cool, I'll replay it and keep by eyes open for some tambourines clipped to cartridge belts. Good luck,enjoy the level!
