Please explain this shot

At 11 seconds into the video, I get shot by Payton behind cover. He was not prone and did not shoot my feet. Or am I wrong and this is what happened. This hasn't been an issue in the past. I find it hard to believe that if you can shoot below cover, snipers are just catching on. Lastly, this happened several times during the match. Glitch or sniper rifles can shoot through solid cover?

From what I saw he was either crouched or prone, and it looks like he shot your foot. I've done it to a few people before, and I've had it done to me too. In my opinion, it was a legit shot. It frustrates me when someone blows my foot off, lol, but it's possible.

Note that some cover can be shot through as well.

That spot of cover is one of the many thin metal covers that can be shot threw on that map.

I was taken out another time that match, i don't recall the cover I was behind. I does seem silly that you have to memorize the penetration of a object cover down to the type of steal. Especially given the key location of that object, its proximity to the objective. If i did get shot in the foot, why is the damage so great. Like the Knight from Monty Python, 'it is merely a flesh wound.' I also recall instances where I was using corner cover and had my hand or arm sniped and died from it.

If you look at the video, before any shot is even fired, notice that the cover you are behind is lifted off the ground slightly and on small feet. This gives opportunity for someone to shoot in that small area underneath cover and kill you. Since he did shoot a few times, this is more than likely how you were killed. As explained, he shot your foot. There are areas of cover like this on all the maps. Don't forget though, not only can someone kill you this way, you can use this to your advantage and kill others :)
