Need Neighbors

I would love to have neighbors on Horse Haven! Do I need to add as friends on facebook or is there a way to just add them through the game? Add me as a neighbor and I will gladly visit your haven and help any way I can! Thanks.

Like with Horse Saga, another ubisoft game, they just automatically show up after X amount of time. I don't know what that time frame is, but it's not that long.
