we're still deciding on the "numbers"... so its only temporary until we fully decide which post totals for each rank !!............so the ranks will stay.....but the post count to get to each rank will change....... and we wont reveal the totals to you...

its really a randomly chosen totals which TIM has chosen.... there is no logic to the totals..

well, if my number is lower than yours, it means i've been here longer than you. i then say to you "how long have you been here?" you reply with how long, and we then hav ea way of finding out how long someone has been here

but still, there are some people who logged on here the same time as i did, stayed around for a few weeks, left, then nearly a year later came back

now, would you consider them an oldie?

the ID counter recognises how many people were registered b4 you

hence why people who were here b4 me have a lower ID number, and people who have been here for a shorter time thatn me have a higher ID number

the database is linked by various parameters... one of them being your ID number...

your post details are stored in one database.... your account details in another...... they are linked together by a ID number....... I guess its easier to sort by ID number than it is by username !!!

For example............. Your personal information is stored on ONE database.....

your username and post count etc are stored on ANOTHER SEPARATE database....

instead of have one database CHOCK full of information... your information is separated and kept in two (maybe more) databases.....

in order for these databases to be linked together... you need a "common" parameter...... your ID number..... which is stored in both databases... so when one database looks up information from the other database..... it looks for the ID number.....
