@zirius89, Dude your post thread got locked out, i understood what you were saying and i think your question/concern was in the right forum because it was an enquiry for Ghost Recon Future Soldier graphics options. But anyway, regarding your concerns (which are mine as well) here is what is known so far for the PC version of GRFS.

Ghost Recon Future Soldier PC version:
Improved visuals: New Hi-Quality textures.
New Post Processing Effects.
Multi-screen support.
TriDef Stereoscopic 3D display support (hopefully a work around work for Nvidia 3D and AMD 3D)
Online Widget: Party, Friends and Ghost Feed functionality can be accessed at any moment from any screen.
Extended party functionality: simplified and more flexible invitation system. Party text Chat.
Uplay Friends system.
Fully customizable controls for localized keyboards.
No Digital Rights Management (DRM) one-time product registration at first launch using the player Uplay account. From that point on, no permanent connection is required, except for online modes.
DirectX 11 features: Tessellation (for soft 3D models).
Shaders-based realistic lighting (for Global Illumination).
volumetric fog.
There has been no official mention of antialiasing or anisotropic filter settings, but i'm hoping they are an option within the GRFS game video settings. I doubt GRFS PC will have anything like the Crysis in game video menu options, but it would be nice to have AA and AF settings, yes please :)

Yeah,that moderator didn't even read my post.He saw Ghost recon online in the first line of my post and closed it.DUH!.
I just hope we got a proper ghost recon future soldier graphics options menu.
EDIT:He just messaged me.Fail on her side. ;D

Aye no problem though eh mate, these things happen, by the way i believe EvilPixieGrrr is a lady so therefore a she and not a he (oh man i hope so or i'm done for hehe!) :)

Well from my observation on previous Ubisoft games they had including A. filtering.(AC series) so I would imagine they would.I have seen very few console ports without this feature safe for halo2 and initial stage of Crysis 2.

I'm more concerned about the FoV (Field of View). AA and AF Settings is something you don't need to have to be honest, there is a little difference while actually playing a game except loss of FPS. It's not like players holds off shooting each other because they want to look at the smooth edges of the 3D models or shadows in an intense firefight ;)
Gears of War for PC had a really bad FoV even if it was a 3rd person shooter (camera was way to close up to the character). And I really hope there will be some sort of option for this.
Maybe it's better to call it camera position but I feel like Field Of View (FoV) is the correct term anyways.
In worst cases GRFS might get players who get motion sickness etc because of the wrong ratio/camera.

As someone that suffers from simulation sickness (basically motion sickness from video games) I can confirm that the Xbox 360 version of GRFS is causing it for me after having just played the beta for 10 minutes. Ghost Recon: Online however does not, I can play that fine for hours.
At the moment this has caused me to cancel my GRFS xbox pre order. I'm hoping that there will be a PC beta or demo that I can try as I'd like to play this game. Just so glad I was able to beta the xbox version so I didn't waste 60 bucks like I did with Deus Ex: Human Revolution, was never able to play that for more than a few minutes either :(

Oh yes I forgot about that. Miss Pixie please Inform Ubi dev on GRFS about the FOV o.o I get motion sickness too...well after about 2-3 hours of gametime. Consoles are usually set to 60 degrees we need options to allow us to extand that to 60 degrees up to 100or up to at least 90 degress

Being able to turn off post-processing effects like Bloom is another setting that often helps me be able to play a title I otherwise wouldn't be able to.

One thing I'm concerned about is how the camouflage will look on different systems. I do recall that some games have super-low-quality camo that makes you pretty obvious.

The GRFS team said they are revamping the graphics for PC. If what they say is true(would like confirmation) then the camo will be fine.
