What do you think? I'm getting a bit nerveous when i see these fast paced video's....:confused:

Even though this video isn't as tactical and stealth oriented as the first one, I think I really like the action, the fast pace, and the intensity of the fire fights.
I hope the video was played on Easy though, cause on Hard I really want a challenge, especially with the Regn. Health.
Last thing GunSmith looks more awesome and awesome, too bad in the MP we won't be able to unlock every gun attachment in GunSmith, SP GunSmith may end up being the real deal.

I just think there's a mix between stealth and and just all out battles in the campaign. I wouldnt worry about it unless you were expecting the enitre game to be one long stealth kill.

The only thing i want to say is that the trailers are a bit too cinematic. Extreme explosions and fast paced. A bit like the 'other' FPS we all know ;). I think it will be a great game. I am a bit worried about the framerate and resolution. The PS3 version doesn't look as sharp and smooth like the 360 version.
BTW, i'm getting Sniper Elite V2 for my stealthkills. :)

this is the 2'nd vid were they go full guns blazing and i love it..not tactical??, what about the way they cleared this street then?..one goes left and the other right...one ghost was firing at the soldiers behind the shield, so the other ghost can set himself up behind them and kills them..i think you have to be tactical to go guns blazing, or the enemy wil get you..the constant interaction and soundeffects make it worth your money..now my geuss is that this was 2 co-op..and 4 player should be harder.
it looks pretty easy though:(..hope i'm wrong

he only said in one of the videos that you wont have enough unlocks to unlock every attachment for EVERY weapon, you will still probs be able to max unlock all attachments for about 3-4 weapons per class, you dont have to touch the weapons u dont like and can max unlock the ones you do

I actually like that you can't unlock every attachment. I'll end up using the same few guns any ways, so it's no big deal AT ALL.

a good video and it reassures me about the X-ray vision, the player didn't over use it if anything they used it like one would use a car mirror, only glancing at it to get a better bearing on their opponents.
still... its something I'd personally avoid using

The good:
1. The Gunplay: I love the feel of the guns firing in GRFS. They sound heavy and the OTS cam provides a nice effect. The bullet impacts look fantastic (a bit OTT but still). OGR and GRAW had fantastic Gunplay. Firefights sounded sharp, violent and frantic...the sound of incoming fire and rounds thudding around you really made for an intense engagement. GRFS nailed this. The moment in the vid the two SAWs chew through a truck was awesome.
2. Shotgun: I am impressed by the range on the Shotgun...it is more realistic. The Incendiary ammo looked beast...again a little OTT but it was awesome. I am glad you have a wide range of ammunition type to choose from.
3. Death Animations: Pretty good. Location based death animations...I like.
4. Flanking: the map shown seemed big enough to allow for flanking maneuvers and multi-dimensional attacks.
5. Freedom in approach: In the beginning of the video the player was in a stealth loop...he decided to break into action on his/her own. I like this. Shows that the game allows you to make your own pace.
The bad:
1. Cover based Combat (Chest-High-Walls Syndrome): The battlefield was littered with obvious cover pieces. This was my initial concerns and the maps look ugly due to this unnatural symmetry. Extremely jarring and doesn't allow for creative use of cover. The action segment played out like a slightly larger section of Mass Effect 3 combat. Not only is this an eye sore..but it almost makes the ability to go prone useless.
I would like, as in OGR, to be able to select asymmetric-non-designer based cover and locate an effective angle of pouring down fire on the AI. Eg: In OGR I would place myself between two boulders with a clear fire lane, down a slope....this allowed me cover and concealment and if necessary an escape route. This asymmetry in positioning is missing. THIS is what makes part of the infantry combat in shooters fun.
2. AI using Riot shields: WTF?!?! You are being assaulted by a well trained force from multiple directions and you send in Riot troops? Who stroll towards the enemy with no attention being paid to the flanks? No care for mutual support
I did not expect this. Extremely unimaginative. The least you can do in a GR game is authentic AI with realistic responses...not include a highly idiotic AI archetype. It seems fine i ME3 and COD..but in a tactical shooter like GRFS. Mind numbingly stupid. And even if you did want to add it..why not give it a GR spin? Make them cover the rear and back with other infantry supporting them....why not allow them to use the DIAMOND FORMATION that the Ghosts do? tut tut tut
The Ugly:
1. Sticky Cover and C-2-C animations: The cover is far too sticky...this leads to unnatural movement. The Animations don't blend in when pivoting in cover and the player character thudding into a wall is absolutely jarring.
PLEASE take a note from Conviction's books and implement the cover animations. They look realistic, seamless and plausible. The animations out of cover have been fine but the in-cover needs work. This has been a constant complain from a lot of the other members.....there is a genuine reason we dislike it.

yeah conviction cover and movement(not climbing) are a lot more realistic..and the daimont formation would be much better..
you know what also would be cool, thinking about that, is the way a small group of special forces retreats from a hughe amount of enemys, by constantly giving fire and set up a stair like defence , were in the front a ghost stays for 5 seconds and than taps his buddy on the sholdier and runs to the back and so an..keeping fire on the enemy and stil moving back

The pace of the action wasn't bad. The shotty is a beast with some range on it.
The vid didn't really show any of the team nearby this is ok but I wonder if they are off giving supporting fire or in another part of the village [as is this vid] what do you do if you get downed or you teammates?
