I had an idea while clawing at my wall waiting for GRO to come back online. Since currently there is no in-game option to view items before purchase, I say that the community should step up and help each other out. When the servers come back online I'll take SS and post them here showing what certain scopes and pistol ironsights look like also the fancy new beret I bought. This is to answer the questions about what scopes look like that many people have. If you wish to help build this impromptu database, please PM with a link to your picture and I'll edit this post as new scopes and pictures roll in.

There really should be a feature to view headgear before buying. It's such a common feature in other games.

Almost done with the pistol sights. Only need the TR-1, FiveSeven, and the last pistol. Thx ohpico for the pics. Would be great if some GMs could post pics of the 30k headgear. I KNOW YOU HAVE IT CHEM!!!

I own a 2.5x-12x scope (which I hate, either too little magnification or too much, and I have no time in the middle of a battle to finetune my scope. Plus, these scopes use a "plus" crosshair, and the chevron is far superior to the plus in my opinion.)

It has the same markings as the 3-9x scope, so the two are basically the same with different magnification levels.

Taco curious do you know if when you zoom on the 2.5x12 does it always stay where you zoomed it to or do you have to rezoom every time you ADS? was thinking of grabing that scope for giggles but if it has to be rezoomed every time you ADS its is more trouble then whats its worth IMO.

It stays on the last magnification of your ADS unless you die then it resets. You cant change the magnification without ADS also.

Ya i know you couldn't change the zoom without being in ADS. Was just curious on if it needed to be rezoomed every time you ADS. And you answered it doesn't so thank you. i can deal with having to rezoom after a death. But honestly if i had to rezoom everytime i ADS that would be a P.I.T.A. lol. Thanks for the answer i might check it out and see how it goes and put it on my SRS don't think i'll be given that one up for a while.
