These past couple of weeks have been pretty disappointing for me, DLC wise. I know blues has a huge role in the world of guitar, but I just had zero interest in playing those particular songs (let alone paying money to play them).
And as for this weeks song pack....
Bring Me To Life, the guitar is pretty boring in this song and all of the song's attraction pretty much comes from the piano or vocals.
Pumped Up Kicks, I honestly didn't even know there was guitar in this song. I listened to it today and I actually did hear it though...very faintly for about 15 seconds or so.
This Love, not really a song I personally ever cared to play. But it is a decent song and I guess I could see that maybe a few people would want to play it.
I've looked through a few pages of the "Wish list" thread (given that I didn't take the time to read it all, I could be wrong and maybe all the parts that I didn't read requested this crap) and from I saw, the general interest from most people seems to be centered around hard rock, classic rock, and metal (with the occasional oddball request). I'm assuming that Rocksmith is fairly restricted with what can be released due to usage rights agreements and what-not. And I'm starting to come to the assumption that Rocksmith knows what DLC we all want, but looking at the stuff we've been getting, aren't able to give it to us. I feel like since I haven't by now gotten the content I'm pretty certain almost everybody wants, that there is no hope of us ever getting it at all. Which sucks, because Rocksmith is one of the greatest things I've seen in a while....
But then again, like I mentioned before, I could be wrong.... maybe the last two song packs have been the best sellers yet and I'm more disconnected with the guitar community than I thought.
