Ghost Recon Online: Weekly Missions
We would like to introduce our first set of weekly missions. These missions are designed to challenge you to push yourself or your squad to the limit. Completing these missions will lead to great rewards. During this Closed Beta phase there will be two sets of missions. Once we move out of Closed Beta we will ideally have a new mission every week.

Ah, this would explain the second set of 20 frags that i got (first from the idem redemption and 2nd from this).
I was curious where they came from.

Just so everyone knows, "prone-cover" is just being prone while in cover. You don't need to do it from the low cover that FORCES you into the prone-cover position.

I found it a little confusing, so I figured I'd post that! :p

I like the weekly missions but I'd kind of like them to be a bit more difficult with a bit more rewards.

Like 750-1k RP, or even offer like a pistol, or a set of inserts things like that.

Or better yet they can stay the way they are but have like a Set of 3 Weeklies at the same time. So you would have 2 dailies and 3 weeklies.

=)

I said the same thing in another thread a while back. But I guess they want to keep them kind of simple so that the casual player will still be able to complete them in the limited time that they play in a weeks time.

More in regards to Prone Cover

You get credit for the following kills for counting as prone-cover.

Prone and peeking around a corner.
Prone on cover and shooting someone while remaining in cover (i.e. someone behind you)
Prone in cover and going to full standing to shoot over cover.

The last one was how I finished the mission. So yes, you can simply go full prone instead of crouch and peek over cover to shoot and you should get credit as well.

Does "Explosives Training" still count with friendlies? I remember last phase getting Explosives Training on a teammate.

Hey guys, keep the feedback coming on these missions. They can only get better!

I think prone-cover kills was an... odd choice for this event. Going prone while in cover reveals much more of you to your enemies than crouching while in cover does. I honestly never used prone cover before this event (unless forced by the cover itself), and I probably won't be using it after this even, either. It's probably not worth it to change the "prone while in cover" model this late in development, but it might be worth brainstorming it.

IMO, that should be a daily challenge... Not nearly complicated enough to be a weekly tbh.
