Need some help please

I bought AC 1-2 at target for 10 bucks AC 1 runs flawless but AC 2 I get to the amnius and my screen go's black then flashes then white,some times I get out of that only to get locked up at the first cut scene I also get the dreaded video card driver stopped responding and has recovered error. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Note I know the card is older but I bought it and it sat until October of last year so it's really a new card.

I believe your graphics card is good enough for this game BUT your drivers may be outdated. Download the latest drivers for your graphics card, completelly uninstal the old ones from the Device Manager and after rebooting, install the new ones

Thank you for the reply I do have the latest drivers and did a clean install,was hoping someone had this problem before and was able to fix it thanks again for the reply.
