Please Help

I have previously installed the IL2 demo on my computer. however, i uninstalled it about a month ago, now i cannot re-install it because it comes up with an error message saying "IL2 is already installed" when i start the installation process, could you please tell me what is wrong and how i can get around this problem.

The program is still in my Add/Remove programs list, but hen i try remove it says "can't find uninstall file (and whatever the uninstall filename is)"

do i have to remove it from my registry?
if so, could someone give me the path?
